Slow Cooker Garlic Honey Chicken is tender, slow cooked chicken breasts covered in a sweet, spicy garlic sauce that will have everyone asking for seconds!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Hoisin sauce found in asian aisle of grocery store
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 4 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 medium sliced green onion
  • fresh parsley and toasted sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker. In a medium bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, Hoisin sauce, sriracha and garlic until combined. Pour over the chicken.
  2. Set the slow cooker to high, and cook for 3-4 hours until the chicken is full cooked to 165°F.
  3. Remove the chicken from slow cooker, stir the sauce and allow to keep cooking with the lid off to thicken, about 10 minutes as needed.
  4. Shred the chicken with 2 forks into bite size pieces. Pour the thickened sauce over the chicken and garnish with sliced green onions, fresh snipped parsley and toasted sesame seeds. (optional).
