Maple Bacon Butter, a sweet and savory combination of maple syrup, crispy bacon and unsalted butter is the perfect when served with savory breads or hot cakes. It is literally melt in your mouth delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks), at room temperature
  • 2 slices bacon crisp, chopped small
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp bacon grease

  1. Cook bacon until crisp. Crumble into small pieces.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the butter, bacon, bacon grease and syrup with a spoon. Beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Transfer to small container, cover and refrigerate up to one week.
