Smoky Chimichurri Sauce

A perfect way to add fresh smoked flavor to your beef, chicken or pork! Made with fresh parsley, olive oil and zesty seasonings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flat-leaf parsley firmly packed, trimmed and chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon tarragon fresh minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions 

  • Chop parsley up fine with a sharp knife and place in a small bowl.
  • Add all of the other ingredients and mix to combine.
  • Cover and serve at room temperature. Refrigerate leftovers.

Chef Tips

For a smoother sauce, add all ingredients to the food processor and puree. Scrape into a bowl for serving.
For milder flavor, reduce or omit the red pepper flakes.
