Slow Cooker Smoked Sausage and Potatoes
Slow Cooker Smoked Sausage Potatoes is a cozy crockpot meal that's always a dinnertime winner! Easy to make, it's simply comfort food in a bowl.
- 32 ounces frozen diced potatoes thawed in refrigerator
- 16 ounces smoked kielbasa sliced then halved
- 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese or cheddar
- 10.5 ounce condensed cream of chicken soup 1 can
- 1 cup milk whole or 2%
- 1 tbsp dried chives
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- chopped fresh parsley and red pepper flakes optional
Lightly grease a 6 to 8 quart slow cooker. Or use a slow cooker liner.
Add potatoes, sausage and cheese to the slow cooker insert.
In a small bowl, stir together the cream of chicken, milk, chives, black pepper and cayenne. Pour over the potato mixture. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on Low 5 to 6 hours, or on High 3 to 4 hours. It's done when the potatoes are tender and heated thru. Stir before serving.
