Ingredients

  • 1 pound thick cut bacon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line sheet pan with parchment paper. Fit with a wire rack.
  • Lay bacon strips in single layer across wire rack. Bacon slices can be slightly touching.
  • Place rack in the oven and bake at 400 °F for 20 -22 minutes, rotating the pan at the half way point.

Chef Tips

This recipe is for 1 pound of thick-cut bacon, but can be doubled and baked at the same time. For even cooking, I don't recommend cooking more than 2 pans at the same time.
Regular sliced bacon can be substituted, but will require less baking time than thick-cut bacon.
