Lemon Glaze Icing Recipe

Lemon Glaze Icing is super simple to make and only needs three ingredients. It's the perfect finishing touch on cakes, cookies and more!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • pinch salt
  • 1/4 tsp lemon zest finely grated

Instructions 

  • In a small mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients. Stir vigorously with a whisk or fork until all of sugar and lemon juice are combined. Use immediately.

Chef Tips

The icing will be thick, but pourable. If it is too thick to pour, add more lemon juice, a few drops at a time, until the icing is thin enough to pour. If the icing is too thin, add more powdered sugar, a 1/2 teaspoon at a time, until the icing thickens.
