2tbspextra virgin olive oilor vegetable oil

Instructions
Use a mandolin or sharp knife to cut russet potatoes into strips 1/4-in across and 3-inches long. Place cut potatoes into a bowl of cold water and allow them to soak for 15 minutes. Drain the potatoes and dry on paper towel.
Place the fries onto a platter or bowl, add oil and toss to coat. Potatoes should be very thinly coated.
Toss the potatoes in batches into the air fryer basket, depending on the capacity of the basket, and set the dial for 10 minutes and 380°F. (Your air fryer settings may vary).
After 10 minutes, take out the basket and shake it well. Return the basket to the fryer and cook for another 8 -10 minutes until the potatoes are crisp and starting to brown. Drain on paper towel lined plate.
Add salt to taste. Serve the fries with dipping sauce.
