Happy Holidays everyone! Let’s get in the spirit for Tablescape Thursday #7. It is only two weeks until Christmas, can you believe that? We are rounding the bend to Christmas and there seems to still be so much to do. I saw a wonderful little sign the other day that read “Remain Calm and Decorate On”…that is my new motto! LOL As many of you know, I do like to keep things simple yet elegant in my home…but I do love color on the table. Today’s Christmas tablescape has plenty of traditional Christmas color with red, green and golds. I gathered everything I had that is shiny and then added whatever Tartan I had in my stash. Come with me to see how I created an All That Glitters for Christmas Tablescape…
Do you see the three patterns of Tartan on the table?
I just love how the accessories are set within the greenery…
This was a new purchase from Michaels this year…what do you think of the gold tree with the mercury glass tealight holders?
It is easy to see the Tartan here…the plate, the candle and the napkin. My, how festive this place setting looks!
And talk about festive, every place setting has an individual bottle of champaing as a party favor…I love how they each are “wrapped” in a folded Tartan napkin. The napkins are new this year from Homegoods.
It is a little hard to see in the picture, but these glass Christmas trees, ordered from Home Decorators, have a light gold sheen to them.
This sideboard sees alot of action during the Holidays. I just remove the “pretties” before the meal so I can use it to serve. My mercury glass collection looks so nice contrasted with the greenery!
